Why you should support independent owners

NACS works to protect the best interests of the convenience and fuel retailing industry before Congress and federal government agencies — especially against rules and regulations that can have a negative impact on your business.

NACS In Store: The NACS In Store program brings convenience and fuel industry retailers, members of Congress, and communities together by offering U.S. legislators the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of our industry and local c-store operations.

NACSPAC: Over the years, NACSPAC has helped educate members of Congress about the interests of the convenience and fuel retailing industry.

Compliance Resource Center: On Capitol Hill, NACS works with members of Congress to protect the industry against costly and burdensome regulations and legislation. But once legislation is signed into law, that doesn’t close the books on the issue or our involvement.

Advocacy Resources: Find NACS publications and materials that can assist you in getting involved in efforts to support our industry and your business — in Washington, D.C. and in your home state.

Grassroots in Action: Retailer engagement in the legislative process is essential to the long-term success of the convenience and fuel retailing industry. As we continue to advocate for our industry’s key issues on Capitol Hill, it is important for retailers to capitalize on the relationships they have with their members of Congress.
